Salt Lake Remodel

Project #15-10, tarpon springs, fl

The Clients wanted their 20-year old waterfront home to have an exterior facelift as well as some interior upgrades and a fresh look. The design includes remodeling the Master Bathroom, including a luxurious walk-in shower with bench and natural lighting. The Entry Foyer was updated with new doors, flooring, and the staircase was painted gray. The Great Room was opened up to the Lanai and Pool with large sliding glass doors. New flooring, paint, and the kitchen cabinetry was replaced. The Upstairs Bathrooms have a new layout. There is a larger window with lower sill in the Family Room to capture the lake view from the writing desk. A future exterior facelift includes new windows and a mix of materials on the facades. Designed 2015-18. Construction by Chapman & Co, Inc. Kitchen design by Hyde Park Renovations and installation by Generations. Photography by Aperio Image.

In the Client's own words: Cathy is very professional and a hands on architect. We took more than two years with the design and she was always on time in sending changes that we requested adding her own expertise and guiding us through out the different phases of construction. It's very easy to talk to her and she was extremely patient with all the changes we asked her to make. I have not come across an architect like Cathy, who is professional and very personable, She understood the emotional aspect we went through with construction. We are blessed to have found Cathy to design the remodeling and [Chapman & Co, Inc.,] to do the work for us. She stays in the budget and educated us on the engineering part of remodeling as well as ideas on how to be realistic about the budget. Thank You Cathy, for the fine remodeling job.
